Your Daily Dose of Strength

Psalm 73:26 says, "My health may fain and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever."

Heavenly Father, please fill me with joy and peace. Don't let the feelings of this world overwhelm my heart. You are my heart. help me to be happy, kind and have a great attitude in whatever I am doing. I want to be an example of Jesus and lead a life of love. Thank you for loving me and giving me purpose. I know I can trust you because you never fail. I want to shine for you in my actions and words. Give me strength and guide me everyday. I love you and trust you, Amen.

When life is getting me down I turn to God for comfort and strength. That prayer is how I talk to God when I'm feeling overwhelmed. Does that prayer help you? Write your own prayer in an area you need strength or just use mine. Post it where you can read it throughout your day and see if you don't feel an immediate difference. (Try it!) How much better off our days would be if we would put our trust and purpose in God.

Ephesians 1:11 & 12 says, "It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone." (MSG)
